There are many boards in Pakistan. Literacy rate of Pakistan is so low that is just 45 percent as Pakistan is still a developing country. In remote areas there are no educational system for that people need to move outside their areas to get education. When Pakistan was formed at that time there was no educational board at that time in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa education was under the University of Peshawar that was main authority to conduct examination. Then board was formed in the year 1990 that was Mardan board and it was formed as a part from Peshawar board there are many students who appear in examination by the board.

This board was formed under Ordinance Act 1990 and it is independent body functioning by Ministry of Education. There are many functions of the board and main objective is to conduct examination for 5th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th and also students are provided with facilities to get education. This board is not confined to certain areas but there are many regions those come under the board. Jurisdiction of the board consists of following areas District Mardan, District Swabi and District Nowshera. This board conducts examination for 5th and 8th class those examinations are not compulsory but students appear in them for practice so that they can gain good marks in compulsory board examination.

There are many schools and colleges those are affiliated with the board and examinations are conducted there. This board conducts examination for 10th class in the month of March and April and now these students are waiting for results that is in the month of June and July. This result will be declared on the official website of the board that time is very near and students are excited too it will also be declared on our websites so students can check it.

Before examination students need to get themselves registered with the board so that they can get their roll number slips and date sheets after that. These forms are posted to affiliated colleges or they are made available on the official website of the board.
